Increase opportunities for community members to build stress-resilience and holistic well-being in South Minneapolis in collaboration with the East Side Health and Well-being Collaborative, a community-based collaborative sponsored by M Health Fairview; and Watercourse Counseling Center, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit mental health clinic engaged in a 5-year pilot of the Trauma Systems Therapy (TST-R) therapy model for refugees and immigrants. Work with Minneapolis-based Hispanic/Latino communities, wellness providers from medical and traditional/indigenous healing practices, and community organizations to increase access to culturally based services and social supports; increase provider knowledge, cultural responsiveness, and collaboration; and decrease cultural stigmas associated with mental health. This position is hosted and located at CLUES (Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio) in South Minneapolis, with time spent in an elementary school setting.
